I hear this question a lot — what exactly is healthy living?
Is it six-pack abs?
If yes, I’m out. I don’t have one.
But I do work out. And more importantly, I live well.
Here’s what healthy living means to me: no extremes, no drama.
- Getting 7–8 hours of sleep most days
- Drinking 4+ litres of water without obsessing
- Getting sunlight soon after waking up — simple, free, powerful
- Keeping caffeine to a minimum
- Walking as much as possible — 10k+ steps is my baseline
- Protein in every meal
- Eggs for breakfast
- Chicken or fish for lunch and dinner
Yes, I eat out.
Yes, I enjoy it.
I just keep portions in control and don’t do it daily.
I’ve also ditched fitness trackers. No rings to close, no numbers to chase. I listen to my body more than my wrist.
When it comes to snacks, I don’t stress.
Mostly real food. Sometimes a protein bar. That’s fine.
Now, about workouts — I train regularly around 5 days a week, and that’s the only rule.
Leg Day.
Chest & Shoulders.
Arms Day.
No “perfect” split. No magic routine.
Just show up and lift, which is pretty much what I share on my Lift with Suman channel.
And here’s the part most people miss 👇
Fitness follows the 80:20 rule.
- 20% → workouts and activity
- 80% → diet, sleep, hydration, steps, stress, habits
If you don’t fix the 80, the 20 won’t save you.
Make this a lifestyle, not a phase.
There’s no secret hack.
No shortcut.
Just boring, beautiful consistency — and the results will show.
